Our journey would begin every day with a prayer to the Almighty—hoping for the divine to nudge a tiger out into the clearing. The drive itself was an experience: the cool breeze, the crunch of tires over jungle paths, the camaraderie with other safari jeeps, all converging towards one goal—a glimpse of majesty.

Staying at a resort nestled almost inside the forest magnified the experience tenfold. With the safari gate right next door and wild animals casually circling the boundary of the dimly lit resort campus at night, the line between man and wilderness felt razor thin. The darkness, punctuated only by scattered pools of faint light, had its own rhythm—unnerving yet strangely magnetic.

Kanha, with its deep green canopy, its raw beauty, and its unpredictability, doesn’t just offer a safari. It offers a symphony of emotions—serenity, suspense, awe, joy, and wonder—all packed into a few days that you’ll remember forever.
